Cinque Terre Beaches

How about a trip out of town? Maybe to the Cinque Terre? Couldn’t be easier! From the accommodation “Terre di Liguria”, in just a 5-minute drive, you are in the Marina of Lerici: from here boats leave regularly for the Cinque Terre. From the Marina of Riomaggiore you can walk to the free beach near the boat boarding, whereas the “Canneto” beach, between the “Castagna Tip” and the “Cavo Tip”, is accessible only by sea.

In Manarola you can swim near the Marina or under the panoramic terrace. In the village of Corniglia I recommend swimming in the clear waters of the Corniglia Marina, a fantastic bay just below the village. Vernazza offers the beach of the Marina, the one next to the Church of Santa Margherita and a last one connected to the village itself by a cave. Monterosso offers two free sandy beaches, one under the promenade of Fegina while the other is called the beach of the “Giant”, besides the private ones. Finally, in front of the Clock Tower in the historical centre: a small free beach and, beyond a big rock placed towards Vernazza, another most comfortable free one that can be reached by sea only.
